Recommendations for Google Drive for the summer.
If you are staying in CUSD for the upcoming school year, your Google Drive files are safe, and they should still be there when school starts up again in July.
However, now would be a great time to do a little Google Drive "housecleaning." You don't want to drive yourself crazy trying to find that file you had in that folder somewhere! Here are some tips to help you get organized:
Tidy up your CUSD Google Drive.
It's a good idea to place important files in folders, delete files you won't need anymore, and name / rename folders as needed.
Put all your past work from this school year in a folder, and create a new folder for the upcoming school year.
That way, your old and new work don't get mixed up.
Copy shared files from your classmates who are leaving the district.
This is because if your classmates own files they shared with you, you won't be able to access them anymore once they leave. All you have to do is right-click on the shared file you want to keep, and select "Make a Copy." Easy!
We hope these tips help! 😃
