Recommendations for Office 365 for the summer.
If you remain with CUSD, your Office 365 account will remain active and accessible through the summer. But, here are a few recommendations to manage your apps for the summer and next year.
Organize OneDrive Files
We recommend organizing your OneDrive so you can find files easily in the fall. Delete any files you don't need any more and organize the rest into folders, if needed.
More information about managing your OneDrive documents can be found here.
OneDrive Shared Items
If another student is leaving CUSD and has shared a document in OneDrive, those will no longer be accessible by others when they leave and their account is deactivated.
Check documents that have been shared with you and make a copy of any you would like to keep. It will no longer be a shared, collaborative document. Instead, you will have your own copy to keep. Follow these instructions to make a copy of shared documents:
In Office 365, visit your OneDrive in the app launcher.
Choose Shared on the left menu bar to view shared documents.
Choose Shared with you.
Filter to show only the type of document you're looking for at the top.
Select the document you want to save and find the three dots to the right of the document name.
Choose Download and save the document in a safe location. You can download files and folders and you can download multiple at a time, just be aware of the storage space in the location you are downloading to.
If you want to view the document first, then save it, follow these instructions:
Find a document you want to save.
Click on it to open the document.
Choose File in upper left of the menu bar.
Choose Save As.
Choose where you want to save the file and in what format. You can download a copy or convert to PDF file. To save a copy in your OneDrive, choose Save As: Save a copy online.
Find a folder or just save in OneDrive. Choose Save.
